Payment:
Payments are processed via credit card through Simple Practice. Social Skills Laboratory does accept most HSA/FSA cards at this time for certain services and can provide detailed session invoices/superbills upon request for certain services as well. Payments are due within 30 days following the session and/or billing date. Please contact us to discuss alternative payment options.
Cancellation policy:
There is no charge for canceling or rescheduling speech therapy sessions, provided notice is given before the therapist has left for your house for a home visit or 30 minutes in advance of an online session. After this time, a late cancellation charge will be applied. This charge cannot be billed to insurance.
Insurance:
John is in-network with Premera, Regence and First Choice insurance for individual therapy sessions and evaluations. For other insurances, superbills are provided upon request.
We cannot provide any guarantee of any kind of after-the-fact insurance reimbursement, so please speak with your insurance company prior to beginning speech therapy services. In many cases, Social Skills Laboratory, PLLC will be considered an out-of-network provider for other insurance companies.
Also, please note that our consult services as well as all peer/friendship/social/game groups are education-based services and are not eligible for any kind of insurance reimbursement or coverage nor can HSA cards be used to cover their cost.
